I would also check the Windows 7 taskbar properties,
for some of the jump-list settings might interact with other start menus?

All I remember is someone in the know said in order for jump-lists to appear, the program needs to be started from within the Classic/Open shell menu. I did a test on Win 7 with Classic shell and Open-shell. Both show explorer jump-lists. I had to pick "Recent programs". Pinning explorer t...

About the xml file. For myself, I never recall having a problem. I don't trust it because others have. I can only assume what happens is a user makes changes from a non-matching version, saves then uses that on a different version again. Also, possibly xml file is edited by itself, not through CSM. ...

If your CSM version does have a taskbar settings tab, double check the taskbar settings. Transparency could be at 0 ? If CSM version has taskbar texture skinning options, I would reset the "Border sizes" back to 0,0 It's happened to me that I had high border numbers for a long skinned task...

Problem- when I use Classic shell, the windows image has dropped down and shifted to left by one pixel.
I included the original screenshot 125 % size and other one with extra pixels.
