FYI....it wasnt the File Menu Tool either. This started sometime after 2/9/14 so I kinda knew it wasnt anything I had b4.

I have had that for years and had it 2 mos b4 Win 8.1 so I dont think its that but I will try that.

Well I dont know how you guys got into this, but I just uninstalled you and I still have the problem. So I guess its something windows will have to fix. Its so frustrating.

The last folder description fix didnt help. Has anyone else reported this? If other support people are saying it is suspected dont you think you guys should fix this? I want to continue to use Classic Shell.

Yeah I saw that about Windows Update KB2911106 also so I have removed that before I contacted you. I did the Regedit addition and still have the problem. I think I have also tried the folder description registry fix from Win 7 also but I am doing that now.

I have been having a problem renaming and moving folders in Win 8.1 since the first week in February when I think I installed the latest version of Classic Start Menu. The procdump program. I have to restart it each time I shutdown and restart the computer and I have forgot the last 2 times explorer has restarted.

I dont get crashes. Explorer does sometimes restart but no crash. Do you want that one anyway or should I just see if its fixed?

I just sent 2 emails. Even the Zip file was too large to send so I had to divide in half. You may not see anything because I have just noticed this morning for the first time that it isnt doing it anymore. Was there some sort of update? It was doing it yesterday.

Yes anywhere in the start menu and explorer the first time. Explorer hangs, after it times out, it works the second time you click in the same place. I know its the program because if you disable it, everything is fine.

Anytime I right click most items, the cursor hangs and the right click menu never shows. After about 10 seconds the cursor will just unhang and then it will be like you never right clicked.
