After more vigorous testing it does appear that this issue only occurs depending on where I click on the start button. The area that causes the issue is the bottom left corner.

I have uninstalled avast and the issue still occurs. The last thing I can remember installing before the issue started occuring is the game Insurgency

I will try uninstalling avast. I uninstalled the KB3000850 update

It doesn't appear to matter when I click. This is a recent issue. It appeared a couple days after i ran updates.

Left clicking the start button at the bottom of the screen only sometimes opens the start menu. It usually opens the metro unless I press the windows key to open the start menu. I have not found any consistent reason for this happening. I have checked to make sure that the left click opens start men...
