When I change these settings - column view, sort by, group by, filter - then leave the folder and come back, the settings disappear. I have tried everything to no avail. I know this can be done, because on my laptop these settings persist.

I was wondering how to regain the Quick Launch toolbar on my Windows 8.1 Taskbar? I remember finding it on here a while back, but I can't find it now. Can someone please help me out?
