Damn, I never ran into any COM thread issues, but I do care very much about texturing the taskbar. Only way I can reliably make the taskbar all black, nothing else seems to work. 
Thankfully the Creators update doesn't come with anything I care much about, so I'll have no problems waiting. |

So, is there an update for Classic Shell I should be waiting for before I get the Creators update, or are these issues mostly isolated?
I'm just a bit paranoid after all the pain that came with getting the Anniversary update last year. |

Thanks again! It took a while to find the exact file, but I got it! Now I have a pretty convincing Windows 7 taskbar.
Doesn't work too well with bright colors though. |
