Damn, I never ran into any COM thread issues, but I do care very much about texturing the taskbar. Only way I can reliably make the taskbar all black, nothing else seems to work.

So, is there an update for Classic Shell I should be waiting for before I get the Creators update, or are these issues mostly isolated?

Is there any way to thin out the left column? I don't have any long-named programs or folders in my start menu, so there's a lot of unused space.

Thanks again! It took a while to find the exact file, but I got it! Now I have a pretty convincing Windows 7 taskbar.

So with the new textured taskbars, I'm doing my best to recreate the aesthetics of Vista and 7 for my 10 PC, but I'm missing the most important component. The texture for the aero glass. Is there any way to extract the file from Windows? I have an old Vista computer lying around that I was hoping to...

Audacity got hit too, by the same people. According to the tweets from the people who claim responsibility for it, it was done to demonstrate Fosshub's weak security.
