This procedure has resolved the issue:

Exit the start menu (right-click on the start button, select Exit)
Go to the %APPDATA%\ClassicShell folder and delete the DataCache.db file.
Log out and log in.

Deleting DataCache.db and logout/login has resolved the problem!

I have the same problem... I open another thread with the same topic because I have't found this one. In my case only icons under "All programs" are svanished... While Under submenu "App" there are all the icons of the apps. If I select "property" in the contextual menu...

Hello!
I like ClassicShell very much, but with the last Windows 8.1 update, some icons in the menu are disapears!
I tryed to repair installation without success, so I try to unistall and reinstall, but still no success :cry: .
I attached some shots of the problem.
