Hmm well this is primarily my work laptop so I might check out Avast and see how that will work, or see if Windows Defender does slow down my machine significantly. I did try to run some games on here and to my surprise this machine is quite a beast.

I see, thank you for your answer GauravK. I think I figured why Windows Defender has been turned off and why I can't seem to turn it on. I just bought this PC and it came with 30 days of Norton antivirus for free. I'm guessing that if Norton is running, Windows Defender is not necessary and therefor...

Good day, I was wondering if Windows Defender needs to be disabled when using this software. I can't seem to enable it after installation.
