Classic Explorer Topic: Navigation pane settings problem

I'm using the latest version of Classic Explorer. I have set Navigation Pane to Windows XP Classic, but I still have the triangles. I want the "+" and the dotted lines. What am I doing wrong? Also I can't get the address bar to display the slashes. I'm still seeing the spaces and triangles...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I waited until it was absolutely necessary before buying a Win8, which I need for work purposes.
