I never even saw the Task Bar in Windows 8 until I installed SC. Is the Task Bar viewable in Win8?

When I open an item from the Task Bar at the bottom, if I minimize it, it will not longer maximize. When I click and hold it will maximize but as soon as I let go it minimizes again. I have to re-boot to get it to work again. Even if I open the program again from the start menu it will automatically...
