Update: after fiddling around a bit more and restarting my PC completely, it now works as intended. The above behavior only happens after you change the settings from Default to Always and reopen Explorer until you have restarted Windows. However, it doesn't auto-navigate if you change to a new fold...

In the Explorer settings I have chosen Auto-navigate to the chosen folder and checked Always. I want the Explorer to show the contents of a folder in the right pane when I choose that folder on the left pane.
