It's strange. I cannot reproduce this problem anymore. I know before I tried unchecking the "replace start button" box, I tried some Windows 7 "fixes" I found on the web. None of these helped though. I then tried unchecking the replace start button thing and that cured the proble...

I also had this problem with Classic Shell 4.0 and 4.1. This problem goes away if I do any of the following: 1) Do not use Classic Shell (or prevent it from starting). 2) Go back to version 3.6.8. 3) In Classic Shell Start Menu Options, go to the "Start Button" tab and uncheck the check bo...
