i am getting this annoying 15-20 seconds message after upgrading today to latest classic menu version before upgrade it was working ok. don't know what version i've had before, but it was installed on 23rd april 2015 and was downloaded from this site as the latest version of that day. update: it see...

on opensource version is it just a matter of recompiling or are there some apis not present in xp?
is there any older version using xp compatible apis?

while at first looks absurd, classic start menu is better than xp native start menu.
for example, when the number of items is too high the items do not fit on the screen; saerching would overcome this.

is there any way you could compile it so it can run on windows xp?
