Thanks so much GauravK. I did what you suggested and it instantly fixed the problem!

I have a problem I haven't seen in this forum. I posted a question to the Microsoft community and I thought I would post here, too. I have installed classic shell on my windows 8.1 computer. When I log into my user account I get a windows 7 desktop. I have shortcuts on my desktop and also pinned to ...
