The new version has everything the old had and more. You are probably opening Classic Start Menu settings instead of Classic Explorer settings. Nah, I made sure I was looking in the right place. I don't think there is a mode in Explorer where it can expand one root folder but not show any other root folders. The closest you can get is if you uncheck "Automatically Expand to Current Folder", but then even your root folder won't show in the navigation pane. Well, it's obvious there...

The only setting that I can think of from your problem description which you may have changed accidentally is the Navigation pane style. Open Classic Explorer Settings and change Navigation Pane Style to Windows XP Classic or Windows Vista style. Then close and reopen the Explorer window. Well, the...
