Classic Start Menu Topic: Short cut Win+ keys quit working

The Classic Shell work perfectly today. The problem was that an external hard drive was plugged into the USB 2.0 port. When that occurs the short cuts don't work; for example, Win+C launches the calculator. So, there is an unintended problem. Thank you! /Howard

Short cut Win+ keys quit working on one Windows 8 Pro PC. Particularly Win+E, Win+D. Sometime the keys are erratic. And, sometimes it takes a very long time (many minutes) for the PC to respond. I did have both a external USB hard drive and USB memory stick attached. How can I fix this problem? Than...
