Thanks for the reply. For some reason the shortcut doesn't work for me, as it opens the start menu instead of Metro screen. The only shortcut that works is the one placed in the start menu by Classic shell, even though the one you suggested is identical.

Hi! I'm having the same issue with standalone shortcuts to start screen. I'd like to place one in the taskbar, but it simply opens the start menu. Any idea how to work around this? I've been messing about with the shortcuts and noticed that, for some reason, the only way to get the shortcut working ...
