Everything is ok now, i did a new recovery that sorted it, i think there must have been a problem with my previous recovery image. thank you both for trying to help

I've already tried that with no luck, the version i have is 40.40 i don't know why it says i have 402 unless it's a record from a previous install, it's baffling me

Here is a screenshot of my problem, it happened after restoring my Windows 8.1 os and now i am unable to update/uninstall CS and i've tried to repair the install but no luck with that either, ...it still works and runs fine though.
