Thanks, that explains some of it - but not all: I've tried opening .BAT and .CMD files in several (MS/non-MS) programs, and they are never in the Recent list. If I create a new file a.qwerty and open it in the same programs, it is always in the list. Seems to me as if the .BAT/.CMD filetype is regis...

That was a bit tough: seems the -e options doesn't produce a dump, and there's no entry in eventlog. I managed to produce the attached dump using the -t option, but maybe it's to no use if it's not captured at exception time?
