Thanks for the suggestion, but it does not answer my query. I just want to disable the display of the underlines, not the functionality of the keyboard shortcuts. Your suggestion totally nukes the shortcut keys. I just want to get rid of the underlines in the UI.

I want to hide the shortcut underlines showing up in the classic task bar, and can't figure out how to do it. I know I did it once in an earlier install. Unchecking the "Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys" in the "Ease of Access Center" has no effect on the Classic Star...
