The new update has removed classic shell. Is there a classicshell version compatible with the new update?

I upgraded to windows 10, found many problems and came back to windows 8. Classic shell wasn't working so I went to the uninstall programs in control panel and though classic shell was shown the option to uninstall it wasn't there. This suggestion worked at the time, but now despite uninstalling Classic Shell and reinstalling, and satus bar ticked I am still not getting the progress bar - any suggestions?

I am using Windows 8 and IE 10, the progress bar is not showing, any suggestions? (classic shell otherwise working fine)
