Just curious: does the 4.0.2. version replace my 4.0.0 installation? Or do I need to uninstall the previous version first?

After I upgraded to Windows 8.1 my computer refused to go directly to the desktop. I got the Metro-app panel again. After I checked the new Windows 8.1 option to switch to desktop, all is well again. So I type 16 in stead of 0 as the required Button size and the Start Button will be smaller?
