I echo that request about the background.here (see the bottom) that the 'up' button does not work on Windows 10 seems wrong: it works here.

That Windows is harder and harder to customize - in some cases: fix - is, in many ways and, to my mind, all-things-considered bad. It's part of the reason I am on Windows 8. Gaurav, Thanks for the reply. However: (1) the problem occurs on a computer without a touchpad; (2) the problem can be prevented. When Windows is booting (on my Windows 8.1 system, anyway) Windows keeps stealing the keyboard focus (because it is nice like that).
