I just did a reinstall of this machine from Vista to Windows 8. This is a clean machine with no software and no virus program on it yet.

Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled on the machine. When it tries to load I get a message "the program can't start because classicstartmenudll.dll is missing from your computer". I checked the program files and it is not missing.

I just checked and I am running Windows 8 Pro, not 8.1. When I right click on the taskbar the only options I have are Taskbar, Jump Lists and Toolbars. I do not have a navigation tab.

I installed Classic Shell on a Windows 8 computer however when the computer boots up I still get the Windows 8 tiles. Is this the way it is supposed to work? if so how do I toggle to Classic Shell? I did put a shortcut link in the startup folder but I get an error message indicating the classicshell...
