But I have always used it with hover in Windows 8.0 and the side effect that throws the current window to the background was never an issue. Also with win 8.1 with an older version. I'll try older versions next :) I think with 4.0, the current window was not sent to back.

I have used this skin and it works just fine. Now we are waiting for your new updated skin for windows 8 and I am sure this will be much more advanced. I'm sorry, i have paused theming.. I know that method, this is a feature request. I'd ike to have some pinned folder on top, and recent programs below. It's not possible with custom items.

I see, it uses the unselected color becouse the split button is selected. But I dont understand this: "You need to specify a bitmap for the split selection." I try to check the default skins but.. I think then it can't be changed? Or if i specify a bitmap, for the split selection, it will ...

I just found the header (it's called submenu separator).
But what is the other? when i'm in the jumlist, it changes color from white to black.

And also when I'm in a jumplis submenu, the selection text of the program turns black. I'd like to change that too. It's good for normal submenus.

But you cant "show recent programs on the right column" or "in the middle". only as a submenu

A way to disable shadow only for the main window (not for the submenu) in the script would be great... I'd like to do it as well! Maybe we can add shadow manually to tha submenu background. It's not about implementing something. For example Start8, Startisback has aero and also trillian for me :)
I think it's just a small setting. I tried Win7 compatibibility mode but it's the same

nice:D it's similar to my skin :DD U gave me an idea to fix a little thing in mine :) btw i'm using thin explorer frames so my frame is smaller but i have to widen it 1 pixel xDD your start button looks similar to mine as well :D mine looks like this but i havent uploaded it yet couse i only made it...

it starts automtically with AGTweaker.exe and also minimizes itself. I'm searching for a nice small program that can autohide the app from the taskbar. I found one that hides it but doesnt remains on startup.

Hi!

Now there is an app which enables aero, but somehow classic startmenu doesn't use aero on win8. My request is to make it compatible:) or re-enable.

Can we move search to the top and recent programs below? Recent programs is not in the Customize Start Menu tab.
It would be nice if we could move the section freely in the Customize Start Menu tab :)

can you open these programs? for me these kind of apps were which I uninstalled..
Also try to unselect Pre-cache icons in the General behavior settings.

I found only this: Search_bitmap=10
And this is only the buttons, not the textbox.
I'd like to edit:
background color, frame and the font if it's posible. If it's not, its a feature request :) It would be nice for dark skins.

I have a bug with the submenu. Sometimes it has a thick frame like here. Other times it's not there. Most frekvent is in the Recent documents submenu. Do you have it too?

Is it possible to open these with one click? these have submenus but i think its not necessarily to double click. A single click is simpler :)
