Yes it does have a transparent pixel area.

On Windows 2012 R2 the Windows context menu is not hidden with custom button: when right clicking ON the custom button I get the Classic shell start menu. When clicking on the left of the custom button I still get the Windows context menu. Can't find a GPO or setting to hide this behaviour, looks li...
