Yes, I think that you are right. I did not realize that the Windows 10 Start Menu had been breaking for people. Thanks for the quick reply. No, I see the 4-white-pane icon (start button) for Windows 10 after I exit, but clicking it does nothing. Right-clicking it gives me a white-text-on-dark-gray menu of about a dozen options, from "Programs and Features" to "Desktop."

I cannot produce the original Windows 10 menu, whether via the choice off of the main Classic Shell Menu, or via keyboard-summoning (see the Controls tab in Settings, where one may make the Win key plus mouse click open the original Win 10 menu).
