I changed the value AAPThreshold to Zero. As expected, the doube tapping issue continues - still hanging and only working after several trials. I made a copy of the VM and uninstalled classic shell. After the double tapping was working correctly. I suspect still a relation with classic shell. Do you...

Somehow, I agree with you. I can only say, if I uninstall classic shell the behaviour is gone. About your suggestions: > - Open Control Panel and then open Mouse. I use Classic Shell on notebook with touchpad, OS Win10. If I do double click on touch pad (not with the buttoms, doing real double touching with fingers in touchpad), it is not get recognised as double click anymore. There is a recognition delay.
