I see. I did as you said and yes, the native windows 7 all programs menu is replaced with cascading menu that looks great. But I don't want to use the native windows 7 start menu. Why can't I make Classic Shell Start Menu All Programs Menu look like that? I don't remember that the classic shell star...

Just to be more exact: None of the settings in the All Programs Skin has any effect on the start menu.

I have just installed 4.1.0 on top of 3.1.0 (IIRC) and there were a couple of issues: 1. During installation, I let the installer kill explorer.exe but it still couldn't continue because explorer.exe wasn't killed. I started the task manager and killed manually and restarted explorer.exe after insta...

Thanks. I was logged in via remote session. Enabling the setting you mentioned resolved my problem. Windows Server 2012 is almost usable now... (it really isn't usable without Classic Shell).

I have installed classic shell om a few Windows Server 2012 machines but for some reason the start menu does not show up. It is present in the configuration, yet remains unavailable in the actual menu. How can I fix this?
