Ok, so my next question would be... is there any way to integrate tiles into Classic Shell Interface so that I can view the tiles without having to press Shift+Win?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm looking for a way to get notified (preferably via Growl or something similar) when a Google blog updates.
