The start menu searches the path. If you add your desktop folder to the path then any EXEs in that folder will be searched. Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. Certainly would be nice to be able to just check a checkbox rather than editing the Path setting ;) (So, I'm classifying this as a "Ni...

Is there an option for Classic Start Menu to include the Desktop in its search? I have some utilities that don't need to be installed (in fact, no installer -- just a Zip containing .exe with its dependencies, if any), so I just create shortcuts for them on the Desktop.
