When I hit the shift and start button it takes me to the charms. sometimes the start works and sometimes it doesn't. I have to watch the tower to make sure the light it out. Thank again

I have windows 8.1 with internet 11 could that cause a problem with classic shell or should I try to reinstall it

no I have not disabled hibernation I do not think I would know how

If I hit start button and hit shut down the computer light goes orange but the tower light stays on, If I hit window plus w it the same'
the one way it will go off by hitting charms and setting and power

when I hit the start button and hit shutdown the computer does not got off. Can I use the start button to turn off computer

When I hit the start and hit shut off the computer the computer never completely turns off I have to go to charms and hit setting and turn it off that way, can anyone help. thank you

why does metro open instead the start button. Metro opens and I have to go to desktop before I can get the start button
