oh yes I'd like to keep the original Van SN skin and important to me the transparent opacity it gives in both main and 2d columns to sub menus and just make it floating with free space between taksbar on top and left edge as seen on my initial screenshot. Hi Juniper ! It's very nice to link some skins very close to my taste :) the one I currently use and screen shoted is from here ( credits to Van SN ) http://www.classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6305 I'd like to keep the original settings and have a mixed skin with the one you provided...

hi Mrbumpy you may try to go to config panel then "devices and printers " right clic on "my PC" and choose something like " devices installation settings " ( sorry it's in french ) and there disable automatic download for drivers this way you choose ton manually install...

Hi Jcee and thanks again for your helpful post I changed for Region but start menu still had stuttering so I replace every " fullglass" value for " solid" and it solved the issue with my custom bitmaps :) Thing I don't get is why all is working with yours and fullglass enabled ? ...
