Everything is ok now! That was DrWeb antivirus that was blocking installation all the time...

I tried to run setup with /l log.txt option.

Unfortunately, no log file, no setup...

What may be the case?

Thank you for your answer! Ok so what exactly does happen when you run the installer? If you uninstalled the old version before the upgrade, and then re-installed 4.2.4 post-upgrade everything SHOULD run smoothly.. have you let windows 10 update fully? have you tried running the installer as admin? ...

Hello! I've upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (Home version) and then tried to run ClassicShellSetup_4_2_4.exe (but I've deinstall Classic Shell on Windows 8.1 befere upgrading...). Unfortunately, ClassicShellSetup_4_2_4.exe didn't run at all... No error messages, no instalaltion... ...
